Inspiring Stories From Women Who Have Gone From Invisible to Invincible

This book highlights stories of women who have felt invisible at some point and are coming out now to share how they went from invisible to INVINCIBLE.

Not all of the stories are about domestic violence, but it is rampant throughout the world and we want to put a spotlight on some of the staggering statistics relating to domestic violence. Here's one thing to consider, not all domestic violence is against women. Men are abused in their relationships, too.

Even though all the stories in this compilation are written by women, this book isn't about bashing men. It's about empowering oneself to come out of the darkness and into the light.

  • According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, on average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men.

  • 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner physical violence, intimate partner contact sexual violence, and/or intimate partner stalking with impacts such as injury, fearfulness, post-traumatic stress disorder, use of victim services, contraction of sexually transmitted diseases, etc.

These numbers are shocking and unsatisfactory.
